This section
may undergo changes as the airline
occasionally changes their regulations.
We recommend participants to check the
airline's web site prior to departure for
the current airline policies, specially on
the day of departure. We will advise
students of any changes involving the
specific agreement between Forspro and the
airline. Air France is the
airline providing the group's international
transportation. |

If Forspro is
providing the airfare
Included in
the program price is the international
transportation. Forspro provides airfare as a way
to facilitate and insure students with the
transportation to Madrid and Paris at a
reasonable price. Our function with
the airline is similar to that provided by
your local travel agent or internet travel
site. |

If you are providing
own airfare
If you are providing your own international transportation and do not
want the airfare Forspro includes in the price of the program, you
receive a $1025 credit. Please be aware that the Madrid/Paris flight
is part of the international transportation Forspro provides.
Therefore, if you are making your own travel plans,
you must make the arrangements to travel from Madrid to Paris as
well.
Note:
Participants traveling on flights different from the group’s flight
itinerary and not connecting with the group’s ground transportation must
provide their own airport transfers.

Flight itinerary
The airline is
the one that makes all the flight
arrangements and the itineraries for the
program flights. Some participants may
encounter longer delays than others in their
flights. The itineraries are randomly
selected by the airline. However, the delays
are no different than many of the
connections you experience in flights you
may arrange individually. The
flight information is in your statement. The
airline is constantly revising their
schedules and may make minor changes to
their flight departures. Therefore, there is
a possibility that your flight itinerary may
have minor changes from the original
reservation.
Please refer to your statement to read your
flight itinerary. Below is an example
of the eastbound segment of your flight from
the U.S. to Paris. Use the same
formula for the Paris/Madrid segment and the
westbound (return) flights.
All flight numbers begin with AF which are
the initials of Air France.

Deviations
Air France will allow deviations/changes from the group’s flight
itinerary only on the return flight (westbound).
In order to process the group tickets, deviation requests prior to
ticketing are accepted until 45 days prior to departure. Their
policy is as follows:
-
Before ticket issuance:
You must submit to us in writing (via email/letter/fax) any request
regarding changes to the airline reservation prior to ticketing.
Any change in is subject to a revised fare at Air France discretion.
Air France will notify Forspro of the new fare prior to changing the
itinerary. Once the itinerary is changed, further changes
prior to ticketing may result in additional fees.
-
After ticket is issued
(approx. 30 days prior to departure):
Only one
change per passenger is allowed after ticketing and the fee
will depend on the booking class available at the time of the
request. The fee amount can range from $150 to $450.
Once ticket is issued, each passenger is responsible to make the
changes directly with the airline.
Additional notes:
Deviations prior to ticketing
will be made if space is available. If the space is not
available at the time your request is submitted to the airline, the
airline places you on "standby". Although it is seldom that
the following occurs, there are times when the space never
becomes available. If this occurs, you must choose another day
or return with the group and make the change while abroad.

Airline Ticket
The airline ticket is purchased 45 days
prior to departure. The eticket information will be sent to
you via email about 4 weeks prior to departure. Upon receipt of
your airline eticket, you should review your ticket to make sure the
information is accurate. We
need your email address in order to send you the airline ticket
information. |

Seat Assignment &
Luggage Check-in
Since these are group reservations, we are unable to make individual
seat assignments. However, after you receive your eticket
information you should be able to perform Internet check-in.
With Internet check-in, you can choose your seat anytime within 30
hours prior to the departure of your flight. All you need is an
Internet connection and a printer.
Warning! If you print your boarding pass and you lose
it, it may be a problem when you arrive at the airport. We
will not be able to help you. You will have to resolve it
yourself. Unless you are willing to take that chance, we
suggest you get your boarding pass and check your luggage at the
ticket counter at the airport.
You are allowed one
piece of checked luggage, a carry on, and one accessory. Refer to
the Air France web site for size and weight
limitations. |
